Fall is a favorite time of year for all ages, including high school seniors. It is no surprise, as the beautiful and vibrant red and yellow colors make a great backdrop for Colorado senior pictures.

But a top question on parents’ minds is: Can we get our teen’s senior photos taken in the fall and also make the yearbook deadline?
Yes, this is possible!
PLANNING AND SCHEDULING FOR COLORADO FALL SENIOR PORTRAITS
The changing leaves can fluctuate every year depending on the weather conditions leading up to fall, but generally we start to see fall colors around the third week in September to the end of October.
Over the last few years, many Denver and Boulder area school yearbook deadlines have been extended to October 31st or November 1st, so we have a better chance of capturing fall colors in our Colorado senior portraits and getting them turned in on time.
The turnaround time from capturing your images to receiving your final, retouched and edited portraits usually takes a few weeks, but I have workarounds to make sure that we get your senior photo uploaded for the yearbook.
If we have your viewing and ordering appointment close to the deadline, we make our first priority choosing your yearbook image. Then I can focus on that one image to make sure it gets edited and submitted.

So don’t stress! As long as we get your Colorado senior portrait session scheduled, we will make the yearbook deadline.
